Jennifer Aleman, Director of Office and Events

Born and raised in Brooks, Jennifer brings considerable financial and people skills to the Chamber. When not promoting local business, she is kept busy buy her four sons, three of which play hockey competitively. Jennifer is responsible for matters relating to events, finance and the running of our office.

Dr. Kyle R. Franz, Director of Member Relations

Kyle was born and raised in Brooks. After graduating from the Brooks Composite High School, he completed a Bachelor of Arts (first class honours) from Simon Fraser University, a MA from the University of Lethbridge and was a Canada Graduate Scholar while completing his Ph.D. at Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario.

He has published in the popular press, including the Vancouver Sun, the Edmonton Journal and the Globe and Mail. He has also published with respected academic presses like Cambridge Scholar's Press.

Kyle left his position as a Teaching Fellow at Queen’s University to become the Executive Officer of the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation. The SHF is the Crown Agency responsible strategically investing in heritage conservation in Saskatchewan.

During his tenure as a Senior Executive with the Government of Saskatchewan Kyle also served as Secretary to Quasi-Judicial bodies like the Saskatchewan Heritage Property Review Board as well as the Geographic Names Committee. Kyle also served as one of Saskatchewan’s Representatives to the National Trust for Canada, the Chair of the Wascana Center Advisory Board on Heritage as well as the Mangager of Special Projects at the Office of the Provincial Capital Commission.

While employed by the Government of Saskatchewan, Kyle complete the Pubic Policy series offered by the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Saskatchewan. .

Kyle is now the Director of Member Relations at the Brooks and District Chamber of Commerce. He also teaches advanced English as a Second Language courses at BCALC.

When he’s not working you can find him focused on his model train set, writing his next book and most importantly spending time with his 7-year-old niece.

Kattie Mosher, Administrative Professional

A Calgarian by birth, Kattie has called Brooks home for the better part of a decade. She is well known around town as an entrepreneur, and brings a solid understanding of what running a small business is like to our office. Kattie is responsible for making sure administrative matters are taken care of and providing support to the Director of Office and Events as well as the Director of Member Relations.
